Monday June 13 left Denver around 6:30 drove to Des Moines Iowa, arrived their around 8:30 at night ate and slept.
Decided to make the trip a little longer so we stayed at the hotel until 12:00 so we could swim in an awesome pirate pool (pictures to come) and it was my Birthday so Nate made it a shorter drive HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! by the way thanks to everyone who called and texted me on my Birthday!!! after swimming we left Des Moines and drove to Battle Creek Michigan where we encountering HEAVY rain, and it was dark so we grabbed a hotel room around 8:00 pm. we left Battle Creek and headed out and arrived HOME the afternoon of the 15th. It was a Beautiful drive, I loved seeing a huge section of America, the Hills, Grass, Trees, and Road Kill, are all so different then what I am used to, but it is seriously FANTASTIC, I am excited to take other routes as we travel home for visits. We are safe, and comfortable here and loving ever minute of the mid-west lifestyle.
