carmel apples...and then some

It was that time, The Sister Missionaries came to dinner and family home evening, and it was the night for our Carmel apples, so they joined in, so did the Smith's, 8 kids 4 adults, Carmel, apples, sprinkles, toffee, chocolate chips, m&m's, totally doable right?!?! We missed Nate, especially when Kate wanted a face on her apple, Nate is so much better at that than me.
I had to add this, swimming suits in October, I love our weather, but he best part is cowboy boots with everything right now.
boys, Wilson, Dallin, Sam
Sam the Mann

dipping with the girls
Gentry and Kennedy, I forgot to add that during dinner Wilson and Gentry turned on the water and ran through the sprinklers all on there own. that is why they have Jammie's on, so they had Carmel apples for dinner.
Ethan did it all on his own he has grown up alot since Nate left, he has become quite the big person. I am very proud of him.

I LOVE DAYS OFF!!!

We went out to the train tunnels, and climbed rocks, threw rocks and just hung out!!!
The first climb for Ethan and Kate.

You cant see him but Ethan did it he climbed up and over this tunnel, he is on the very top in the center he had white sleeves on so you can barely see him.
there is a rock in the center he is just to the left of it,
OH MY GOODNESS!!! I have said it before they are FANTASTIC!!

Sweet Sam.

resting looking at the lake.

entering the first tunnel, Ethan was full of good stories of snakes and bats, and things that live in it, the kids looked at him like he was crazy, he freaked himself out more that anyone else.

the lake. Wilson was throwing rocks hoping to make a splash.

Field Trip number two

Preschool went to the pumpkin patch, so I kept Ethan and Kate home that day and we called it the family trip to the patch also. Kate Kate Kate, didn't want a small pumpkin she wasn't happy with me at theis point for saying we are only doing small ones this year.
Lex, Wilson and Gentry taking on the hay maze
Our preaschool plus two, Lex, Wilson, Adam, Hagen, Gentry, Kennedy, Anna, and Elijah. Good times at the Pumpkin Patch!!! LOOK AT HIM!!! HE IS FANTASTIC!!! Wilson does Sam's hair he loves dino hair.

Field Trip number 1 and then some...

Natural History museum couldn't have been better, When I took Ethan there for the first time, we walked in paid and didn't make it past the first stuffed animals before he FREAKED OUT!!!! I asked for a refund and left, the twins were fine, I think Wilson would have taken any of the wild beasts home with him if he was given the opportunity untill he realized that he gets to take Gentry home, She is very similar to a wild beast!!!
Kate and Trenton in the bubbble, that fish is real

Finding fossils with Lex.

Riding a dino, she is not quiet, and she was saying in her very strong voice GO DINO FASTER!!! She is CRAZY!!!

And the Babes, Sam and Camden, along for the ride.
RUN FOR THE MONEY!!!

Our school started this last year as a fundraiser, Ethan ran 17 laps last year his goal was to top it but it didn't happen he was very sad he only made it 11 this year.

Ethan's whole class
And the winner is Kate, I missed her runing with her class, I was teaching preschool that day, but I took her back to get some running pictures, before we even got out to the playground, 3 teachers stopped to tell me how many laps Kate had done, there wasn't a definate count but her teach said she did at least 10 in the morning and I would say she did at least 7or 8 in the afternoon, GO KATE and Ethan!!!

While we were away...

Wilson cracked his head on an iron gate at soccer practice, no stitches, i glued it back together when we got home.

Sam learned "SO BIG" or "TOUCHDOWN"

we made Halloween cookies I will not be taking these to anyone I promise!!!!

we walk home from school like this...sometimes

I knew all along...

That Sam would be quite content chewing on a bone!!! this is his happy for food face, This is also what you get when you eat dinner next to Papa Dan!!! HE made one happy boy when he passed him a rib!!! he washed it down with a corn cob!!!

This is his other happy face when he gets muffins for breakfast!!! I wish you could see his little fists better they were full of muffins and he would just suck on them for flavor!!!

Oh what sweet little friends, we went to the park and Adam did this all on his own, Gentry was quite happy to have someone to push her.
